Target Coupon is a low-priced component that extends the already robust coupon capabilities of Virtuemart.  Designed specifically for Virtuemart 1.5 and 1.6 this software allows for a coupon to be established for a specific product, multiple products and even by category.  The newest release of Target Coupon also supports expiration dates and allows for free shipping.

This low priced Joomla 1.5 Component for Virtuemart doesn't replace the capbilities of VM, it enhances them.

Virtuemart is an excellent shopping cart system. Combined with the power of Joomla, fantastic eCommece sites can be created on a budget affordable to most businesses. Virtuemart, however, has had one drawback - coupons. You could set up coupons to give customers an incentive to buy. However, you could not limit those coupons to a certain product. Nor could you require a minimum purchase for the coupon to be used. And you couldn't put an expiration date on the coupon, either. In short, you had a coupon function in Virtuemart, just not one most stores could actually use.

So what good was it? Not much, until CorFun created the Target Coupon component for Joomla to fix all those limitations!
