This package includes the SOBI2 Categories Mapping only. Combined with the JMaps Module (SOLD SEPARATELY), this plugin provides all of the following mapping functionality:
1) SOBI2 Categories - Put the mapped results for any of your categories in a module position on any of your Joomla pages!
JMaps can be set to read the entries in a specific SOBI2 Category, and to map those items via Google Maps. You can then display these items anywhere you choose in a Joomla Module position. You can control the start zoom level, give the users controls over the map zoom even the map type.
Add a featured field to SOBI2 and show featured entries on a map in a different color, and even a star on the map marker! Keep the featured field as an admin only option, or even make it a user option and sell the right to be featured as an add-on to your directory! The featured option works on either the category display or the search results display. All colors are completely configurable in the module parameters.
Featured entries look as shown here when rendered on a map if using the Star icon and also a different color option:

2) Map a custom XML file that you provide!
Create a custom XML file to use for mapping purposes. Realtors can use JMaps to show available properties put together from a remote database. Non-profits can show areas affected by disasters, or areas where they are operating. If you can think of something that needs to be shown on a map, then JMaps can help you out by letting you put your mapping results in a custom file and shown on any Joomla page.

3) Add an RSS or KLM feed file to your results!
If there is specific data that you would like to show along with your mapping results (from any of the options above), provide a URL to that feed and JMaps will create the map markers for you. Sell ads to businesses in your coverage area and have them appear along with mapped results from your directory or your site members. Whatever you can find a valid RSS or KLM feed for can be mapped! You can add the results to results from your own Database or custom XML file, or you can display a map based only on the RSS/KLM file feed.

This package only contains the SOBI2 Category Mapping Plugin. Packages containing both the JMaps Module and this plugin are listed below for those who do not have a licensed copy of JMaps.
As noted above, this package includes only the plugin to map SOBI2 Categories. The JMaps Module's capabilities can be upgraded at any time by adding more plugins which can be purchased separately as shown below.
