Event Mail has now been upgraded to work with JNews as well as Acajoom. JNews is the new generation of newsletter software from Joobisoft for the Joomla Content Management System. Event Mail has three functions that are often needed by Webmasters.
- Integration for DT Register with Community Builder. Registered attendees for events can be added to CB quickly and easily with all the standard fields moved across in the process.
- Integration for Community Builder and either Acajoom or JNews. A CB plugin for Event Mail can generate a file based on Users Lists and then use that file to selectively add CB users to either Acajoom or JNews mailing lists. How powerful is this feature? Imagine being able to search your users based on any criteria in your database, and then build a mailing list specifically for those users. Build mailing lists by state, by Zip Code, by favorite type of music, by favorite type of news, etc.
- Integration for DT Register and Acajoom or JNews. DT Register is a fantastic registration system. However, its ability to send targeted mailings to registered attendees is not sufficient for many Webmasters. With Event Mail, simply select an event and then select a mailing list to which the registered attendees should be added. This highly flexible ability lets you send mass emails to attendees before the event, and keep in touch after the event on unique mailing list or a combined list with attendees from other events. Your strategy can even evolve over time, as the ability to move attendees from DT Register to a selected mailing list is available as long as the event is archived!
Event Mail's power in creating custom mailing lists for either Acajoom or JNews makes it a must-have for any Webmaster using either Community Builder, DT Register, or both.
