I have VM (latest build) installed and tried using Target Mail to populate my CB data into VM but it doesn't seem to work.

The only data that seems to by synced is username and email.

I have also created custom CB fields that I would like to have VM use, but cannot figure out how to do this.

Any assistance is most welcome.

Hello mjwood -

Let's take this one step at a time.

First, are you using the standard CB fields for address, city, state, zip? Those fields are loaded on request in CB under 'tools.' You have to request the load of them after installing CB, it is called 'Load Sample Data' I believe.

Okay, if you are using these fields already, then the system should push them on sync to the corresponding CB fields. If that is not happening, then we need to figure out why. Is the site somewhere up so that I can look at it?

On custom fields, you can create custom fields on the VM profile using the Manage User Fields.

This version of the system does not support custom fields, but we are not averse to adding it. Give us an example of the kind of field you are looking to add, and we can look at it getting it in.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have a mature site (600 users) and CB installed.

I do have some of the standard CB fields:

name - Name
email - Email
username - Username

The only ones that seem to port are username, password and email.

In CB I have custom fields I'd like to add to VM:

cb_maidenname - Maiden name
cb_salutation - Salutation
cb_attending - Will you be attending the reunion

I did create custom fields in VM but would like to link them to the custom fields in CB:

vm_maidenname = cb_maidenname
vm_attending=cb_attending
