Hi,

I'm having trouble with Virtuemart and Community Builder integration with Target Mail. When a user registers through Virtuemart (to buy a product) they cannot login using the Community Builder login module they get this message:

This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!

When I look at the community builder user list the users have been added to it however they show as not approved by moderator or confirmed by email. In the Joomla global config I have the user registration on and email verification off. In community builder I have 'same as global..' registration setting and 'no' to users need moderator approval and email verification.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.18 and Community Builder 1.2.3 as well as Target Mail obviously.

Hello Karl -

Sorry you are having an issue.

The user is registering in VM.

Are you then running the manual update or are you using the CRON job to add the VM users to the CB tables?

Can you PM me creds so that I can take a look for myself?

Hi Glen,

I have only tried running the manual update. I've now found the problem is solved by running the synchronize users option in community builder's tools section but I thought this was what target mail would do automatically?

I've PM'd you site and login details.

Hello Karl -

Here are the steps I followed. I went to your site and did a test order. I followed the order all the way to PayPal. The user name was "testme1" that I used for order purposes.

I logged in as an admin, and ran the Community Builder Update from VirtueMart option in TargetMail. The system informed me that one order was pending. The TargetMail system returned a clean result.

I then went into the backend of your Joomla install, and found testme1 in the CB User Manager. The test user was showing as Approved, Confirmed, and Enabled.

I then went to the Joomla frontend, and logged in as that user in the CB module. The login proceeded normally.

I have attached a couple of screen shots, the first highlighting what I used as an option in TargetMail, the other showing my successful test.

The question is - how were my testing steps different from yours?

I have no idea why it's working now. I've just gone and followed the exact same steps as you (which is the same way I was doing it before) and it works fine. It's also now working as a cron job so thank you very much for your help!
