The records in the vm_user_info database are deleted automatically when I delete users records from the back office of VM

However, the records in the database of Vm_ User_info can’t be deleted when I was trying to delete users from the back office of CB.

It shows “Virtuemart Not Updated. No new members found.” when I registered a new user name and tried to sync it with VM update from CB via target Mail from the interface of the website. I have to delete my user name that has been deleted in back office before from the database of vm_user_info again, otherwise I am not able to register any more. Is it possible to solve this problem? The version of CB I am using now is1.2.2, the version of VM is 1.1.4

Hello Cooper -

Let me see if I grasp this.

You have a user in both the CB and the VM user table.

You delete that user in CB.

The user is still in VM. No updates are done by Target Mail to delete the user from VM.

Correct?

Hi Gchancy,

When I delete user in VM, the same user will be deleted in CB as well ,and the user’s information will be automatically deleted in the database, it works very well.

when I delete user in CB, the same user will be deleted in VM as well, but the user’s information is still existing in the database list(demojos_vm_user_info), you have to delete it manually. If you forget to do the manual operation, when the same user register in the website again, VM can’t be updated from CB when we use targetmail, there is a warning notification: VirtueMart not Updated. No new members found.”

The Target Mail system is designed to move users from one to the other, but is not designed to delete. That brings up an interesting question though. Why would you delete a customer from VM? Same question applies to CB. Why delete a member?
