I found some hints for this issue.

support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/927917#more_information

www.skidzopedia.com/2008/10/18/fix-internet-explorer-cannot-open-the-internet-site-operation-aborted-how-to/

But I am not good at java script.

HELP!! Can anyone please tell me how to fix this in FlyTabs Virtuemart Theme?

Hello Jimmy -

Could you either post the link to the error, or email me at glen at corfun.com so that I can look at the problem?

I'm attaching a screenshot done on our demo page in IE 7.0 on Windows XP. Obviously, it is working, which means that something on your site is causing a problem. Have you already introduced the hacked code that you were thinking about to add a new field to Virtuemart? If so, was IE 7.0 working before your code changes?

Thanks,

Glen

when clicking any product to show detail page, that problem occur.(Firefox work well)

I tried to use default theme , it's OK.
But Flytabs theme doesn't work.

Hey Jimmy -

I am using IE 7.0 with all the latest updates and I am not seeing a problem on any of the products that I pulled up. We have IE 8.0 on some of our test machines (and IE 6.0 as well), but those are rendering fine also.

For example this one:

test1.bestpartners.ca/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=98&category_id=10&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=8

Is showing fine under IE 7.0 and IE 8.0.

Are you using IE 7.0 or IE 8.0? Also, can you find a specific product that shows the error condition, and send me that direct link?

Thanks,

Glen

Hi Glen,

Thank you for your enthusiastic.

The issue is resolved, but not sure what's real reason.

Sharing my experience is as follows
The first, this issue occurs on my pc and other pc.
so I posted this topic.
Then, I referred to here to update the virtuemart.
But my pc still occured.
At this time, Glen checked the site and not seeing a problem.
I also confirmed on other pc, Glen is right, the problem doesn't recur except my pc .

For my pc environment, I use firefox and IE8, and use IETester to check other IE version.
I tried many ways, but can not solve it.
Ultimately, I reinstall the IE8, completely empty the cache, the problem gone.

Thank Glen again
