I tried this every way imaginable and I can 't get it to work ... I get a red x for the image and no functions whatsoever no matter what I do ....

Looking at this with FF3 and the developer module I found that the link being built is:

adorestores.com/site/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/coat2.jpg

As you can see, the path has the VM theme URL and shop image folder portion twice (/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product).

How did you load your images? I noticed that you have made some changes to the theme. Is it possible that you changed the way the link was formatted?

I am using default everything everything right now ... I did not change the theme ... of either joomla default/ virtuemart default or new fly tabs theme ... I did retry the image slide on a newly created product here:

Now I see the box but the red xs are still there and there is no functionality ....

I am uploading images via the upload function in virtumart ... I am following the pdf instructions on doing that. That goes well and I can see the images in the admin.

At this point I can reinstall anything if needed ....

The Flytabs template is not being used on either of the links you provded.

You need to check your Admin configuration to insure that you have specified Flytabs on the general configuration page on the "site" tab and on each of the category pages (category flypage).

I did set the main virtuemart settings per instructions but not the category ... so, that was it ... Thanks for the quick reply.
