Questions received from email:
I bought vm product sroller yesterday. It does not work. Sure it does. Otherwise, we couldn't use it ourselves, nor could the other people who buy it everyday. Problem 1: I wrote category in plugin configuration box same example, but this wrote "menu error message". I wrote to .php file category ID, this was OK. Do you have a menu link to the Virtuemart component? The system needs a link to the mainpage of your store. It can be a hidden link, but we need a link to the store. Problem 2: I would like to see everything from product - name, price, addtocart button - in box, but I see his name only. I check everything module configuration. You need the module taller. The verbiage below is directly from the tooltip in the module. Title Height The Height allowed for the product name to be displayed. Only used if the Full option is chosen above. This value should include the height of the short description, price, and add to cart options if they are selected (see below). If all you see is the title, then this attribute is too narrow. Problem 3: I can't find scroller width parameter. If I want to increase the width of the scroller the image size changes. I would like to claim the width of the scroller, but I do not find the parameter. The scroller auto-calculates how big it has to be based on the formula below, which is in the tooltip in the module and also on the documentation page. If you force the scroller into a width or height that is too narrow or too short for the image size and number of images, then you are going to have problems. You will end up with images cutoff, for example. Why are you trying to force the module to be a size that is different than the one it calculates it needs to work? Image Height The Height of the images that will be displayed. Must match up with the Thumb or Full option above. NOTE: For Vertical Scrollers: The height specified here + the Title Height (Full only) + 5 pixels will be multiplied by the number of Visible items specified below. That number plus 80 pixels will be used to determine the height of the entire scroller. For example if image height is 120, the Ttile height is 30, and Visible is set to 4, the calculation would be 150 + 5 = 155. 155 x 4 = 620. 620 + 80 = 700. The entire scroller would be 700 pixels tall. For Horizontal Scrollers: The height specified here, plus the Title Height (Full only), plus 40 pixels will be the height. |
