Hi,
So I've made some changes to skinThumb.css. I just changed the background color, border color and arrow images. The changes all look fine and everything is where it should be but when I reload the page the changes don't show up. I've checked that it isn't an issue with the cache as well. I'm clearly missing something here. Any thoughts?

On your test site? If so, can you put it back online so that I can look at it?

Also, have you cleared the Joomla cache after making your changes, and cleared the cache in your browser?

ok the site is back online. I don't know how to clear the cache for joomla, but I have the global configurations set to no cache and I went into joomla's cache folder, found the carousel, and switched out the relevant files for the modified ones. And I did clear the cache on my browser. Also the path to the skinThumb.css that I'm getting from the page source leads to the modified version. And I am using the thumb, not the full for the scroller.

Once again, you've fixed it and it works fine. Thanks again. I'm not sure why the test site keeps drawing from the real site. But I made the test site from a joomlapack backup so I must have messed something up there. Either way thanks again. I'm off to write a good review.

Thanks, always glad to help. I've never used Joomlapack to move a site. I've used it to restore one, though. When I move sites, I FTP the files and then copy the DB using phpMyAdmin, and then change the config file for the new database. Works everytime, but does take way more effort than using a single utility.
