Where can i change the blue color that appears on the module? The blue background. Which file exactly do i need to edit? thank you for your help.

You need to go here:

./modules/mod_vm_jcategory_scroller/js/skins/default/

and then change either the skinFull.css or the skinThumb.css or the one with the number which corresponds to your instance of the scroller if you are using numbers. Remember, you can have up to 10 instances of the scroller on the same page, so if you have a number other than 0 in the scroller number, change the skin (either full or thumb depending on what you are using) that matches the number.
