Although I created a menu-item in the main menu to Virtuemart I still get a "Please create a menu entry...." message. In the module-parameters I just use one category ID for testing: cat=60.
Do I miss a clou somewhere?

The virtuemart-entry is at the left bottom on every page.

You need one link on a menu to the VM main page. That means a link just to the Virtuemart component, with no category or other modifiers. You don't have to show that link, as you can put it on a published menu that has no module display.

It's solved
I did not know how to create a menu-item to the vm main-page and tried:
Main Menu >>> new Menu-item >>> Virtuemart >>> Right column: Component-settings : Page = shop.browse

And now it works fine.
