The images always load fine at first. When go other places (view photo galleries etc.) sometimes the pictures go blank, then scroll over the image quickly before resting at the blank stage (basically the inverse of how it should work). Also, the images link to the old website, not the current one and I'm not sure how to change that.

Your Virtuemart shopping cart is going to the old site. The module is reading the Virtuemart and the scroller is getting the information from the shopping cart. Go through the Store menu link and watch the URL change to independentrowingnews.com

If you correct your VM install, then the scroller will be corrected!

I realize it's going to the old site. I just don't know how to fix it. I've reinstalled it before and it still goes to the old site.

What is happening is that your link to your Magazine page and some other links on your site are probably hardcoded as show below:

independentrowingnews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=167&Itemid=14

That is your magazine link. If you just stick with the 'Shop' link and navigate on the shop, you are fine. As soon as you click on the 'The Magazine' or some of the classified links (perhaps more) then it is redirecting you to the old site URL.

I would look in your menu and check how those links are built. They are probably full qualified as opposed to relative (hence, independentrowingnews.com/some_link as opposed to index.php/some_link)

If you fix those links so that a user doesn't navigate to the old URL, then you shouldn't have a problem. As long as you stay on the current URL, the shop seems fine.
