we purchased the estimator a few days ago and it works very well. I just have two issues, I have troubles to solve. One is, that my website is in two languages, but i don't have the possibility to translate the estimator.
The other is, I use gantry framework, and when the customer press the estimator button, instead a window popping up, it opens in the same window and crashes the whole website!




Do you have an idea, how to solve the problems?

We have the ability to set the literals in the component itself in a single language. We haven't looked at Joomfish support, so I'm not sure how it works. Does it depend on having a language file to read in order to translate the verbiage?

I am not convinced that your problem is with Gantry. Our own demo site for USPS is running a Rockettheme template with Gantry. There is probably a different conflict going on. Do you have any other Javascript-based popup plugins that might be conflicting?

As far as I know, I don't have any others Javascript-based popup plugins. A strange thing is, that with the Ja Purity template, everything works fine and the estimator pops up in a small window. It's only the Rockettheme that gives me the problem.

With Joomfish it works like that, that you import content elements and then I translate everything personally. Unfortunately you can't import components, that's why I can't translate the estimator.

I would look at ReReplacer:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/edition/replace/4336
It works for components and for languages, so you might be able to take the regular verbiage and replace it with new verbiage based on the estimator component being called and the language of the logged in user being a specific language. It's free.
