We purchased your Virtuemart Extension Shipping Estimator and unfortunately it broke our entire website. We use the latest version of Virtuemart, 1.1.8 stable and it is NOT compatible with this version. We are requesting some type of support or a refund for the purchase of something that does not work and is NOT compatible with the latest version of Virtuemart.

Hello, Sorry you are having a problem with the component. I need some specifics in order to help you resolve the issue. First please explain what "destroyed my site" means? Can you provide some a screen print of the problems you are encountering? What browser are you using? What release of Joomla? Also, please PM me the url of the store if possible and let me know the original order number.

I appreciate your fast response, it's much appreciated. What I mean by destroying my site is that when I installed your component it did something to Virtuemart which caused it to break, it gave me a 500 server error which I'm not sure what caused it. Once I removed the component and reinstalled Virtuemart, the store worked again. I've attached a screenshot of what it initially gave me. I deleted the component and won't install it again due to all the issues it caused in my website. I'm currently using Joomla 1.5 and Virtuemart version 1.1.8. Currently using Firefox as well.

VM Shipping Estimator was originally developed on a VM 1.1.8a site, and then backwards tested on prior releases.

Compatibility is not the issue. That means something else is. The problem is that we can't fix what we can't see. All our installs of 1.1.8 are stable. Is this is a production site? What we need is the component reinstalled, then access to the site to verify the installation to see what could possibly have happened. Either that, or a subdomain or subdirectory install on the same server. You can create one easily with Akeeba.

Thank you for your suggestions. Something else must be the issue. It is a production site. I will get the component reinstalled then give you access to the joomla website so you can take a look to see what is wrong. I'll let you know when that's done, again I really appreciate it.
