There are two different ways to use CB Login Redirect. The first is that you have a select field such as "State" and you populate all of the values with different states. Then you pick a default URL (for people who didn't choose a state, or choose a state for which you don't have a URL). After that, you select a URL for each state that needs to have a specific value. The "State" field used is from Community Builder. State is just an example, it can be any field with a limited number of values (favorite music, favorite cars, etc.).  This options is limited to 50 unique URLs.

Option 2  is to have the field used be a URL that is on the CB profile. That means that each and every site member can have his/her own specific homepage. You put the value on the user's profile, and then component takes care of the rest.  Each user logging in with go to the URL specified on his/her profile. That allows for unlimited URLs to be used, and is very helpful for when users logging in have specific product pages, download pages, etc.
