Is there a way to hide or restrict access to a page based on the virtuemart shopper group?
On your demo site:
When a "Wholesale" customer logs in it redirects them to the wholesale page and when the "Shopper" customer logins in it redirects them to the shopper page. Both pages are available to either customer on your site...the "wholesale customer" could access the shopper page if they wanted to and the "shopper customer" could access the wholesale page. I don't want my "shoppers" to be able to see the wholesale page at all. Can I hide it from their view or restrict access to the page if it can't be hidden from view?

Hello -

You are going to have to use an ACL setting for this. Your Wholesale users can be mapped to "Author" for Joomla class, and then you set the permission level on the Wholesale page to "Special" which will hide it from Registered members. Alternatively, you could get JACLPlus or one of the other ACL plugins that works in Joomla 1.5 to add granular ACL control. These should work okay with Virtuemart so that you can use two different custom ACL groups so that Registered can see one menu item and Wholesale can only see the other one.
