Currently finalising a shop ready for launch and when testing we got a message about a unresponsive script on IE7 and IE9. IE8, Chrome and Firefox all seem to be ok.

It only happens when trying to go to a product detail page.

If you then click on product details you get the error on the IE browsers stated above.
After turning off various plugins etc to try and narrow down what is causing the issue, I think it is now down to the detail page.

I noticted that the add-to-cart method wasn't working. DynaTabs uses JQuery, do you have another JQuery-based script or scripts running on the site? I was unable to replicate the error using IE 8.0. I'll give IE 9 a try as well and let you know the results.

The only jQuery I am aware of on the website is for the image rotator on the bottom of the homepage. This is from hotjoomlatemplates.com. Shop search and cart are AJAX and come from Offlajn.

Everything seems to work ok on all other platforms including IE8, but IE7 and IE9 do have the script issue.

We've looked at the site under IE 7, IE 8, and IE 9 and don't see any issue. Is there any change that this is a caching problem?

The website is now live! www.atpgifts.com

When running it on IE9 I still get a script error.

When you go to the website click on products in the top menu. This brings up a grid of products.

Click on product details and I then get a message at the bottom of the screen stating
" A problem displaying atpgifts.com caused Internet Explorer to refresh the webpage using Compatibility View"

Then after that I get a message at the bottom of the screen stating :
"atpgifts.com is not responding due to a long-running script" There is a button to Stop Script. I do that and the page partially loads. The tabs are missing along with content.

I'm not sure what is going on here, but I've attached a screenshot from IE9 where your site is working. The only problem I see is that the "Add to Cart" button drops below the tabs. I'm sure that's a CSS issue.

Have you tried clearing your site and browser cache?
