is there a way to remove the name of the photo in the detail-view? This looks not great and make no sense.

The name you are seeing is the title. It starts out with the file name of the image, but you can type in a proper title for the image. If you just want to remove it, set the id "jviewCaption" to "display:none !important" in your CSS.
