Hi,

I have the plugin installed and it seems to be functioning correctly, however when I turned on debug mode in SOBI to trace another issue I noticed that every SOBI details page (and vcard template if it's set to show the first image) returns the following error:

Notice: Undefined variable: sobi_jview_id in /home/2kdev.co.uk/domains/nq.2kdev.co.uk/public_html/components/com_sobi2/plugins/jview/jview.class.php on line 136

I've had a look through the pdf manul and this forum, but no mention. Any help in tracing the source and fixing this error would begratefully received.

Thanks

Keith

Hello Keith -

Do you have a link we can look at?

Hello -

I just looked more closely. This is a notice that is caused by your environment. It is not an error, so when you turn off debugging, this will not show. It is not hurting anything.

Hi Nicholas,

Many thanks for taking a look. I had a feeling that it wasn't too much of an issue.

When you say 'caused by your environment', what do you mean. Is it something that might cause issues on other extensions, so worth looking at anyway?

The reason I ask is that I'm having a little trouble with SOBI2 page titles and wonder if there's a link between the two issues.

Cheers

Keith

It won't really cause any problems. There are a lot of versions of PHP in use, and the interaction of the PHP level, the server OS, the apache version, etc. can cause notices to appear. If you debug any PHP script of any size, then you will see these kinds of notices. We all wish PHP were cleaner, but despite its flaws, the power and ease of programming just keep helping PHP continue to dominate.
