TOPIC: Google Map behaving wierd

Google Map behaving wierd 3 years, 2 months ago #116

Hey guys,
So far everything is great with this extension - Again , thanks for a great job...

I am having an issue that came up suddenly, and I'm not sure what the problem is ...

When viewing results, the map appears under the floating box...
not sure what this is ... here's a capture :
newissue.jpg

This seems to be happening only in the latest update of Firefox 3.0.7
Opera, IE, Safari all seem to work ok... This is awfully strange ...

Anyone has any ideas ?

Thanks,
Golan.

Hey Golan -

Weird. Can you repost your site? I'll upgrade to that version of FF and check. If all other browsers work, and the older release of FF works, it seems like the new FF changed something it should have!

Golan,

It appears FF 3.0.7 changed the way div's or tables are rendered when an inner div is generated on page load. Before it rendered in the parent div or table (IE still does). I removed the wrap div (divTopLeft) and the table (in ShowGooleMaps.php) and it renders fine. I had to remove both. The only problem is the border is gone. I've tried css to apply a border to the actual map div, but it doesn't work.

I'll keep trying to create the border but in the meantime if you change the code as stated above it will work in all browsers.

Hey Jerry,
Thanks for the fix. This works now.
I really don't care about the border at the moment. Most important, is that the map is operational in all browsers...

As always, Your support is very helpful!

Cheers,
Golan.
