JMaps is a Joomla module, so you simple copy it to create more than one instance of it to do different things on different pages. As noted in the documentation PDF, one instance of JMaps can create one type of map (CB, SOBI2 Categories, SOBI2 Search results).
The configuration of this map:
flytabsdark.seemyseat.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=14
is set to show multiple listed categories. If you are trying to do this map, select SOBI2 Category plugin as the XML source, list the numeric ID of the categories, and publish to a Joomla page in a module position. The Category SOBI2 plugin must be installed and must be enabled. You either set up a CRON job to build the XML files, or as the doc makes clear, you have to bring up the individual categories manually to build the XML file. That means you go to the SOBI2 main page where your categories are listed, and click through to each one to build the XML file. You can also use the CRON jobs which are provided in the documentation.
This is the SOBI2 search map:
flytabsdark.seemyseat.com/index.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=search&Itemid=15
For this instance, the JMaps configuration is set to use the SOBI2 Search plugin as the XML source. I set the Zoom Level to 0 so that it will show all entries that match the search, made sure the SOBI2 search plugin was installed and enabled, and that was really it.
