TOPIC: markers where there should be.....

markers where there should be..... 2 years, 3 months ago #759

Hi

if I look at a category for a bunch of entries in the usual Sobi2 way (so I'm not searching) - I get the google marker with a number in it for each entry but no map... I'm told this isn't right?

thanks

Darran

The markers should not be appearing. I will put together an updated package and send that to you using the email address you gave when registering.

hi the same thing is happening for me. i have geo category for SOBI loaded on my site aside from the GEO mapping for searches. so when i got to see the entries in my categories, the vcard shows up as well as the GEO Category map. The vcards show the bubbles with the 1,2,3 etc in it that usually shows only when i do searches. The map remains the same as it shows empty bubbles to reflect the various locations.
how do correct this back to normal?

PS. is it possible to change the geo map for categories to reflect the corresponding number in the vcard? that would be very useful.

thanks

sorry i cant as i am building site on localhost for now. i guess the issue is that when i just bring up the cateogories (not searching), it will bring up the vcards using your new vcard template that has the numbered markers in the corners whereas the old default vcard template never showed the markers. The numbered markers dont really signify anything as there is no corresponding map to relate to.
