after reading the older threads i realize that i can still map the vcards even though i have longitude and latitudes set to hide on category and detail view. postal code is also set to hide as well. i installed geomapping a week ago. was this a modification to the module? i read enuff threads indicating that they needed to be visible for the maps to work.

At the end of the install doc, I wrote up a section about addresses and geocoding in the 2.0 release. The lat and long fields have to be published, but are no longer required to be set to display.
